Define the fiber content, fabric construction and finish before choosing a canvas reference. Use the sample review to connect the look you want with the specification your project needs.
General material guidance. Availability, composition, process suitability and supporting documentation are confirmed for the specific project.

MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Cotton is a natural cellulosic fiber. Canvas is a fabric description associated with plain-weave construction. For a cotton-canvas brief, both the fiber composition and fabric construction need to be specified.
A product name containing canvas, or a canvas-like texture in a photograph, does not confirm pure cotton content. Ask for the material description for the proposed product.
MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
State the required cotton proportion, any permitted blend, finished fabric weight and base color. Add the intended feel, structure, finish, lining and any backing requirements. If these details are undecided, explain the use and appearance you are aiming for.
Treat these as requirements to discuss. They are not a list of confirmed MIFAKTORY material options.
MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Look at the proposed swatch close up and at the scale of the finished product. Compare the visible weave, surface evenness, color and feel. Ask how the material behaves when folded and formed into the intended construction.
Use a real material reference for approval. A photograph or AI illustration can communicate appearance, but cannot establish composition, weight or touch.
MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
For a tote or other bag, identify the intended contents, preferred structure and carrying arrangement. For apparel, define the fit and desired drape. Discuss whether the proposed fabric meets those requirements before fixing the material.
A heavier-looking texture is not evidence of a load rating. Include any carrying, care or dimensional-stability requirements in the review brief.
MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Share the artwork, intended print area and color references. Ask which decoration route can be assessed on the exact fabric and finish, and which sample will represent that combination.
Cotton content alone does not confirm a particular printing method, color result or durability. Approve the artwork scale, appearance and feel on the identified material; keep any performance assessment separate.
MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Canvas does not automatically mean pure cotton, organic cotton, recycled content or a particular care performance. Confirm the basis for any composition, sourcing or performance statement you need to use.
The related styles below are product-format references. Their actual material composition and available changes require a separate project review.
MATERIAL CONSIDERATIONS
Identify the swatch, composition, fabric weight, finish and color reference in the review record. State which appearance and construction decisions it can approve.
If washing, color-fastness, carrying strength or another property matters, agree the required assessment, acceptance criteria and reporting scope. A swatch approval alone does not approve the finished product or establish a test result.

COMMON QUESTIONS
No. Confirm the actual fiber composition and specification for the product; the name and visual texture are not sufficient.
The fabric construction, surface finish, artwork and proposed process also need review. Ask which material-and-process sample will support the decision.
Agree the identified swatch and its composition, weight, finish and color references. Record any separate construction, care or performance questions still to resolve.
